Daily Newswatch: June 22, 2009

- Ekstraklasa champ Wisla Krakow will play Estonian champs Levadia Tallinn in the second round of Champions League Qualifying. Although the club has only been in existence since 1998, Levadia has managed to win 6 domestic titles and 5 domestic cups. The squad is all-Estonian apart from two Russians.

The first leg will be played in Sosnowiec (due to ongoing construction @ Wisla's stadium) on July 14/15, with the 2nd leg back to Estonia a week later.

- Polonia and Legia have also learned their fate in the UEFA Europe League qualifying rounds. Polonia will take on FK Budućnost Podgorica from Montenegro in the 1st qualifying round (July 2/9), while Legia will enter the fray in the 2nd qualifying round, playing the winner of FC Olimpi Rustavi (Georgia)-B36 Tórshavn (Faroe Islands).

- Speaking of Polonia, two of their players are loan targets for clubs in the Premier League and/or Championship. Keeper Sebastian Przyrowski and midfielder Radoslaw Majewski are the players mentioned, with Przyrowski in particular being followed by some Premier League sides.

- Legia is interested in former NT player Arkadiusz Radomski. The 32-year old DM/CB has played abroad his entire career, save for two ekstraklasa matches with Lech Poznan.
